Injuries and Mending Wounds

Mending Wounds buff doesn't always show up while you're in bonfire.
But the kicker is... Mending Wounds is normally bugged. It will count down to 0 and restart again and it WON'T TOUCH the injury. This happens only sometimes (why?), and going away from bonfire and going back in getting another Mending Wounds after you know the first didn't work... works sometimes. Right now it doesn't.
Quite pissed off since I died because... I was running next to a pit and stopped. And alt'ed to something else. And the game slingshot me into the pit. Thankyou, neverwinter.
