So a enchanted key on the AH and the zen store costs 125zen = 47k AD. So to receive a blue item that gives you 40k just tells me I wasted 8k
I guess you could say that the bars you get are worth 8k AD, but still they should either turn "Jeweled Idol" into a green or beef it up, at least by 50-75k
I'm really not sure you guys even read what I posted. I'm stating that you don't get enough AD from jeweled idols. Not that there a bad thing, just that if it's only going to give 40k AD it should be a green item because it's a money loss in a since of buying the key to open

Two things.
1. Not every item you get from a box is = the cost of buying a key. That's part of the random. (the idol is worth more than some of the other items, for instance)
2. They didn't design the idol around a particular exchange rate. If the exchange rate had fallen to 200:1, it wouldn't be 47k per key. It's variable.
So, no.... there's not anything inherently wrong with the idols being the way they are. (especially since, again, what you get out of a box is random. You're not opening the box hoping to get an idol, you're opening it hoping to get a Nightmare or one of the other rare prizes. The idol is just one of the better - since you get a guaranteed, no-need-to-refine, 40k diamonds from it - other prizes.)
I'm not so sure what's so hard about reading. All I'm saying as a blue item it shouldn't be a negative loss. They could easily make the Jeweled Idol a green item and I would treat it like a coffer of garbage.

Better than some of the junk that comes out of them. Could be more AD, but i get happier seeing those than some of the stuff i get. :P
