Right now tenebrous adds more dmg that cannot be resisted than any other offensive slot. However if my health pool is slightly lower and I slot ArP dark enchants instead its feasible to do as much dmg but requires specific builds and items.
So my first question would be does -damage resistance (negative) make a player take more damage.
Example: If I have 20% resistance ignore and hit a control wizard he would have 0 damage resistance. After that my natural resistance ignore without gear is about 18% plus Greater plague fire 45% combined 73% or .73 damage modifier. Meaning I am basically critting every hit with + 73% damage. OR does that extra resistance ignore simply keep the value at 0?
If anyone has tested let me know, I will be trying it out over the course of the next 2 weeks.
By the way it is still no ideal for extra damage for a GF or GWF unless you have about 110-120% resistance ignore... a very difficult number to hit, however every hit would basically be necrotic damage because you have eliminated their resistance completely
