How hard is it to solo a DC?

Is it easier in the lower, mid or higher levels?

I have almost always gotten stuck playing the cleric so I'd like to try one out if it's not to difficult.

Any advice?

    You mean solo level?

If I remember correctly it wasn't that difficult. Chains, daunting light combo killed most things.

Not hard at all, it starts off pretty much the same as everyone else, but as you get further along and acquire those heals, you'll stop using potions entirely. It's great, and we have surprisingly good AoE for killing packs of mobs.

    This honestly baffles me.

At lower levels you can facetank nearly everything as a cleric. Just keep healing word active on yourself, use sunburst on cooldown, and spam your at will attacks.

At your level I could accidentally pull extra groups and all it meant was I might have to use my daily or a healing potion.

You should have your man-at-arms pet at level 16, and the two of you are a fantastic tag team until around 40, and then you reconnect and become good pals (although you're the better pal keeping him around and 'fighting' until you can find better...) once you get Astral Shield.

Lance of Faith, Sunburst, Healing Word, Chains of Blazing Light, and Flame Strike made grinding rather easy.

I had no problem soloing my DC and didn't even use my first pot until the 20s. Once I hit the 30s I found myself potting regularly. up until I got my shield spell it was alittle slot\w/tough but since then I am not potting as much any more. the high 40s-50s aren't to bad but sometimes alittle slower then say a CW. But then again your not potting as much as a CW.

You certainly do. Without being flippant, you've worked out how spending points on powers, and putting them in slots works, right? You're identifying and equipped gear that drops? You have your companion out?

You should be able to faceroll multiple mobs a couple of levels about you without any real effort at that level, without really touching pots. It doesn't even require any huge amount of skill- just make sure that you have the basics working.
