Do we know if we get a DPS paragon path?

I always loved healing in my 12 years of MMO gaming, but now that i'm in full CN gear I must say i absolutely hate it in NW, its such a snoozefest.

So my question is, do we know if the cleric will get some DPS love so we dont have to spam blues? If not I would have to ditch my beloved cleric and go lame on my TR.

well, we got this one:
http://dnd4.wikia.com/wiki/Divine_Oracle

I expect us to have this:
http://dnd4.wikia.com/wiki/Angelic_Avenger

And this:
http://dnd4.wikia.com/wiki/Radiant_Servant

But not this:
http://dnd4.wikia.com/wiki/Warpriest
As it's melee and we as clerics canoot equip melee weapons in neverwinter.

Isn't Divine Oracle already a DPS spec? I mean, it's not like we get direct heals. Healing in the game now is a side effect of DPS'ing.

I think we will be getting https://www.wizards.com/DnD/Article.aspx?x=dnd/4ex/20090629b

Divine Oracle - Miracle Worker - Astral savant

The gear for t2 healing makes sense for miracle worker(healer) as well. It's rather exciting to look forward to it all what ever the out come.

In the future I imagine they will add the Templar Cleric pre-build for the melee clerics out there that will have a healing, tanking and damage option, wielding mace and shield!

By the time we get another paragon path the level cap will probably have been increased so i wouldn't make wild guesses based on our current gear.
But that aside i find it quite obvious that cleric gear will focus on healing and supporting. ;)

I think the Angelic Avenger and Warpriest are Battle Cleric (melee) paragon paths. As such I doubt they'll be available for Devoted Clerics.

No. There are DPS sets in the game already for clerics.

Sure, because our damage output is 9001, right?
feeling roguey? ;)

No, seriously...
-Armor reduction: Helps us with our crappy damage to make it average. Helps other classes with their more than decent damage to make it supa-HAMSTER. It's mostly a supporting debuff for grouping.
-1350 Recovery and regen for 4s. If it was power i'd say okay, it's offensive. It boosts our attacks a little. But it doesen', so it's supportive.
-450 Power and Critical for EVERYONE. -> Support.
-20% faster DP gain -> more yumm, can spam FF and AS on DM non stop.

I would call offensive a set bonus like the ones from the CW, or TR.

Actually it's more like a PVP spec~
