Just dinged 60, tips on gearing?

After a frustrating run (threat issues are really making me consider ditching the class), I hit 60 last week.

I've been having problems gearing up. I've been told Cleric gear drops from dungeons such as Wolf's Den and others my current gearscore (around 6200) doesn't allow me to enter. I can only enter Cloak Tower and Cragmire Crypts, and so far after multiple runs not even a single piece of Cleric gear dropped (intended? Sucks!!)

I'm no big fan of PvP, but I've been going in sometimes during the day. The problem I have with it is that I die too freakin' fast to Rogues, who sometimes one-shot me using whatever skill they use to do so, and it's no fun playing like that, because almost always everyone gangs up on me. But I've been managing, but I wouldn't like it to be my main path to gearing up, I want to PvE.

So, I humbly ask, what should I do to gear up? As I can't queue up for dungeons that drop Cleric gear, thus having to rely on farming Seals slowly (that is downright ridiculous....), I'm looking for alternatives.

Also, which 'set' would you recommend? I'm a little lost on some of the set bonuses. I tend to prefer Power, Defense and Recovery stats, am I doing it right?

Thanks a lot in advance.

For builds look at the sticky at the top. The first 2 are very good.
Here is look at a min/max build using a lot of math.

I think it would be very helpful for unspecified or someone to post the order in which they got their armor and how they got it.

Thanks, I've been checking those guides, but I'm afraid to respect as it's very very costly...

I agree, it'd be very helpful to get a gearing order...

    Thanks in advance!

hey man i feel your pain. The best thing to do is to run any dungeon, even a non epic one during the dungeon delve event. If your group completes the dungeon with the chest unlocked your guaranteed an epic item! last night i ran a normal dungeon during DD and got the miracle healers weapon thats better than the one that costs 90 drake seals!! im actually pretty sure i got the best possible cleric weapon in the game from the dungeon delve chest last night, oh and btw the rest of my gear is all sub 60 greens and blues lol, so you might want to jump on that gravy train now as i am sure they are going to nerf the DD chests.

As for your trouble with pvp ive found the best thing to do in pvp is always run with your team and stay at least 50-60 feet behind them. this gives you a huge buffer and puts you out of range of the opposing CW's and if a rogue tries to go after you he puts himself at a serious risk of overextending from his heals, and always keep a blue AS going for your team up in front, also use chains of blazing light to kite away from rogues and GWF's.

EDIT: ok so sorry but i just found out that it doesnt ALWAYS drop an epic i was just really lucky i guess but i got a blue today

I did and the Dungeon Delve chest gave me a blue belt... not epic.

    Figures...

Best cleric weapon in the game is the Ancient Priest's Symbol from CN.

On topic: You really just need to get over the first GS hump so you can run epics and get your seals. Easiest way is to probably just pvp a bunch. Personally, I just ran the highest 2 non epic dungeons 3-4 times each once I hit 60.

If you can spare the ADs, the Auction House is the best way to gear up, true story.

I am running the highest Epic Dungeons I can with my current gearscore, but they drop absolutely no-Cleric gear. I've run 8 of them for now.... stil trying.

Take what drops you can, and sell them for AD, to buy cleric gear; and save up those seals from all those runs to get what you need :)

okay i was honestly just guessing that it was the best cause i thought t2 was the best but heres the stats of the one i got from the DD chest

    Symbol of the Miracle Healer
    656-802 damage
    1,605 power
    290 crit
    290 recovery

is this one of the top weapons deistik?

gearing order - weapons > chest > helm = boots = arms > jewellery. getting a gemmed epic shirt is very important as well. Put radiant enchants into your offense slots as it doesn't DR like recovery and crit when you get into the high values.

    gear like this

    and spec like this

for epic opness. (17k forgemaster heals op).
    Lemonade Stand.

It's a good weapon man! But the Ancient one has slightly higher stats, and a 2p set with the offhand for +450 power, puts it ahead of anything else.

@laudon1: your gearing and build is very similar to mine (I'm at 2400 defense though, and based off your SS, probably a good 7% crit higher), but you do know that 21st point for that 4th pip is an absolute waste of a point, right?

    from the latest patch notes:
Normal Dread Vault no longer gives Epic Dread Vault loot from the reward chest while the Dungeon event is active.

thats where i got my sick weapon from i knew they were gonna nerf it...sucks for others tho =/

I've been trying to do Dread Vaults over the past 3 hours, to no avail.

I'm freakin' tired of being the target of EVERYTHING in the room.

True, I've spent 110 k AD and got a whole Divine Emissary set, boots remaining to get through dungeon runs or whatever.

If you can't afford this either, the fastest way is to do some PvP and get the set.

Mind that the Cleric of that screenshot doesn't have a point in Cleanse, and that's kind of required.

It's easiest to gear up farming CLoak tower for unicorn seals, perhaps get some set pieces from PvP - Besides that run all the dungeon delves you can.

it can be a lengthy process.

I've now gathered enough gear to tun all dungeons save Castle Never.

Now I wonder... after checking these posts and all, there are a lot of different gearing options, and no clear 'idea' as to what's designed for what.
Royal Priest's, Beacon of Faith's, Miracle Healer's, War Priest's... which one is for what?

Do any of you know a site which lists them all? I'm finding it hard to 'decide' what gear is good for me...

(Not to mention I'm very afraid of paying for a respec token, as I don't know if they'll change the powers and feats in the future and I'll end up screwed-up, forced to pay again for another respec)

Thanks a lot for your suggestions and advice.

Miracle 4 set isn't working as the tooltip suggests. (it heals one random person regardless of their health for 5%; Pretty useless). So, I'd go for two two sets. Two miracle pieces and two beacon of faith pieces.
