Very rare armors missing detail/dye kits do nothing

I tried to get some info once before but the thread was lost to all the rollback/ah stuff.

I purchased some master assassin armor (twice once was before rollback). Both times when I equip it its just flat brown with no details on it. So I tried (both times) to die it with the ebon dye kit, which had no effect on it. Any idea whats up with this? Is it bug report worthy? Its nice stuff but Im runnin around looking like "Mr Fricken Hanky" Trying to find out if there is any way to fix this?

    three different spots to dye . You probably just colored the ' trim '

    Its all the TR T2 Chest armor pieces.....you can dye them pink though and it works. :(

    thanks for the reply. Maybe Ill try burnin some pink on it lol
