I've been enjoying the process of reviewing some nicely made Foundry missions. If you've made one that you think is fun and isn't longer than a half an hour in length, I'd be willing to trade reviews. Here's the information about the mission I just published:

Trouble in Mielikki's Glade
Author: @LordBen501
Short-Code: NWDDF4OYHAZ

Now, who would like to swap with me?

I'll be sure to check yours out tomorrow morning. I unfortunately work late, and need to get some sleep.:p.

My quest info link and code is in my sig. No worries about getting to it anytime soon, since I can't get your until later.

I went ahead and played yours. I was very entertained, as it is probably the first adventure I've played in a while that is similar to something I would write. Here's some feedback:

    THE GOOD:
    * Great story and characters.

    * Fun battles. That's because I feel you set up your battles similar to how I do them: Most of them should be easy and only a few should be standard or hard. Most other quests I've played seem to think every battle has to be hard, and since I play with a mage, it isn't easy getting through them. So, bravo for that.

    * Some interesting things I hadn't seen done before. Like sleeping guards. So, good job.

    THE BAD:
    * My only complaint is that sometimes there were too many choices during some of the dialogue. Sometimes, less is more. Aside from that, the adventure was one of my favorites...so I gave you 5 stars...not something I do often.

This quest works best for low level characters in terms of RP. The mobs are mostly spread out so they are not hard at all. Changing the npc activities was a nice touch, as was all npcs being named.

I have no idea why the cleric didn't assign all three tasks at the same time, or at least the two that were both on an external map were not assigned together, I think the cleric is getting Alzheimers.

NW-DGCLYXZW5 (though this quest assumes you played my earlier ones, which start with NW-DOUATK94P). These quests are for evil pcs, or at best neutral.

Playing yours now. Will post review on this reply. My quest code for trade is NWS-DNSXY8Z2F.

    Reviewed:

I like your villages. They are simple, but not boring. I appreciate the type of quest you went for, and that you didn't have a ton of quest items loading up our bags.

I would prefer there to be more challenges. Most of the fights were so well spaced apart (even where groups of mobs were setup) that I never felt in any real danger. You use a very large map for a fairly straight-forward quest, which lends to a lot of dead space. You could spruce it up, add more to the story, or cut down on the map size (or usage, anyway). I did like the castle ruins, though, so I'd advise you just add to this quest.

Thanks for sharing your quest with me. I liked that the objectives were well marked and easy to follow. The encounters were spaced well for solo play. Nice job on the temple work as well.

So I tried your quest and here are my notes:
-Nice enviroment in Mielikkis Glade, the temple too
-you can add some emotes to encounters in the cave - they are just standing there, waiting for somebody (?)
-But that story is just standart to me like : something happened and you need to fix it - collect few things - and everything is allright, I think you can make better ;)

I hope you will try my - in my signature - The Cry from the Past
The Cry from the Past -(name changed from "The Camp and bandits")

Solo quest with a great story

Thanks for the review! I wanted to try to let players feel a bit more immersed by having multiple dialogue choices, hopefully having a better chance of having something their character would say. I might have gone a bit overboard, though. :p

Just finished up your quest. Enjoyed it! A few things:

I really liked the environments. Areas were interesting with well placed details and NPCs.

I liked the main cleric. Her dialogue felt very natural and didn't feel forced. I'd like a little bit more chatter from the random townspeople, though.

There was a bit too much empty space in between the immediate "objective" areas. I'd like to see a little bit more going on there.

Good basic quest overall, thanks for sharing with us!
