Theorycrafting: ARP Soft Cap, Crit DR & Power DR + Scaling

Hey guys,

does anyone know the Armor Pen soft cap for trash mobs? What I mean is the point when Armor Pen reduced 100 % of the enemy trash mob resistance. I heard for Bosses it's something like 2223 ARP.

Second question is what exactly is the Diminishing Returns for Crit and Power? What I mean is what is the value when Crit and Power is getting weak cause it doesn't provide enough stats like it did before.

Third question is in which way exactly works power? What is the scaling from power? I have 4419 power and when I go with my mouse over my power stat I see "Damage Bonus: 176.8". Is this value added to every skill like the At-Wills and the Encounters? Or is this a value that scales with the abilities?

I'd even be willing to pay for someone giving me accurate answers to these question cause they are important as **** and I really ask myself why noone here ever asked this.

    power is always 25:1 ,and crtic rate think start to give small amount of crtic chance when u have over 30% crtic chance think same is for penetration,recovery,def
    and power just ads damage to at will ,encounters,daily powers

    I don't believe there's a magic number for Armor Pen since it's added to your primary stats resistance ignored. Wouldn't that number change depending on that stats value?

    I run full str/con on ny GWF because after talents and gear (3600 crit) I still have 39% chance to crit which I feel is too high.

    Personally, I'm not impressed by recovery as a stat for skills with less than 12s CDs, but that's me. I'm at around 5500p/3600c/2000arp/1600rec.

    From what I've experienced ARP is wasted since 3 applications of student of the sword + plaguefire pretty much ensures you do full damage to whatever you're hitting and critting 3 times with WMS is easy since clone hits also apply the debuff. Combined with other debuffs that stack together and lower the defense to the negatives I think power would give more damage in a prolonged fight.

    It's a great stat for pvp though since you won't really have time to get those stacks on someone unless it's a cleric.

    Soft Caps are as listed (For All Classes)

    Arp: 2k But having 2222 gives 22% armor pen so it allows you to get plague fire and bring mobs to negative armor values
    Crit: 2k But your gear gives you absurd amounts you will be over 3k in full t2
    Recovery: 3k very important and i havent found the sweet spot for maximum damage its an arguement about uptime of avatar set bonus + how important power and arp is vs recovery.

    This is how ArP works: First ArP from your gear is applied until a mob hits 0% DR. Then Plaguefires and all other debuffs stack infinitely.
