Hotkeys for power-profiles

I created a new thread because nobody seems to be reading the bug-forum. Please remove that thread, not this one.

I do a lot of different things in the game. Sometimes I PVP, sometimes I do foundries and sometimes Dungeons. All these are different kind of gameplay and it requires me to use different kind of setup for my powers and sometimes maybe even my gear.

The issue is very simple. Its very annoying that I have to switch powers for a PVP match only to have to switch again after 15 minutes if I want to do a Dungeon and then back again. And this is ongoing many times every single day.

I hate it.

So my suggestion is that you give us a function were we can create a few power/gear-profiles that we can bind to a hotkey like F1 or whatever. That would save us A LOT of time.

Hell I'd drop a mil or something so I can swap from scoun/sab to executioner whenever I felt like going full <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>. In reguards to what you are saying yeah it would be nice to have that, there a add-on that actually did what you are saying back when I played WoW.

A simple new hot bar would do it for me.

As in, i press an arrow (only usable out of combat so it does not get exploited), and it replaces my 3 encounters with new blank ones. That way you can have more than 1 set and easily swap between them for Bosses / Trash.

Just give us roles with specs to switch out of combat. So many simple things are not in this game.

Given this game does not and will almost certainly never support macros or mods, I think this would be more than useful.

It is a nuisance to have to keep manually swapping individual powers before different types of PvE encounters or contexts like PvP or Foundry.

This is really an excellent idea that would improve the game for MANY players I think! I know it anyway would be very much appreciated by myself.


I really hope that devs will take this proposal seriously and hopefully implement this proposal. At least profiles for Powers, but also for the gear would be appreciated!

I find it hilarious that one of cryptic's titles that has absolutely no use for build swapping, champions online, gets friggin 7 of em. This game, with like 5 powers useable out of 20 at a time? None.

I'd kill for a build swap function. If, for no other reason, than the ability to push a button to switch my gear and powers for pvp.

there are so many reasons this system would be a welcome addition to their game, it is invaluable in other games, and would just make this one better then it already is, I certainly wouldn't mind seeing some dev in on their thinking on it, especially since bugs are more a priority then coding a new profile system

either way, I would love to see this added down the road

Nice that so many think it would be a great feature, and make a great game even better! I really hope that this is added to the game!
