Wellcome to my thread regarding my quest-series: Dreamstate
I hope this series will consist of quests related to existing work of fiction that is told by me from a different angle: not main character, but you still experience the whole story. You go to your bed and sleep and dream very weird things.
First story (and only one):
Fellow of the Ring-bearer NW-DIN76WD7A
When you have fallen asleep you experience the story of Samwise Gamgee which starts upon eavesdropping in Bag End, then shows us some of Old Forrest, encounter with Dark Riders on Weathertop (which is quite nice gauntlet event, but scripting has failed a bit, it worked on sandbox environment, but not in game :P) and council of Elrond. I might make also Karadharas, Moria and parting of the fellowship but I wanted to avoid large part of roleplays that might occur. Also had some IRL stuff and wanted this to be published ASAP.

Oh, and yeah, it needs some work still.
It's mostly my toying with foundry tools and testing the capabilities. I'm trading away reviews.
If you have any questions, I'll answer them too. Planning on a video tutorial for stuff in foundry.
Thank you for playing!
EDIT:
I abandoned project for now, until I finish my new quest I'll keep this one in my links.

What it is
A homage to Lord of the Rings, through the eyes of Samwise. It is a short journey through memorable moments and locations of the early parts of the famous tale, enriched with the author's own ideas.
What I liked
The quest had a good, light feel to it and was well paced. The few battles were easy and I enjoyed fighting (one mob, at least!) alongside Aragorn! It really did feel like a dream, hopping from scene to scene, almost like glancing at snapshots of bits and pieces of a great memory.
What could be improved
After the spider fight I had to follow Frodo, but I lost him! Had to ride around a little before I found him by the tree. Also, after fighting the Dark Riders, I needed to go and find Kingsfoil, but the quest still stated I had to survive the attackers (the sparkles to go to the plant had been there throughout the waves).
All in all
I had fun, there were no frustrating moments and I felt well entertained. A good experience!

"You may not make use of any copyrighted or trademarked material of third parties without irrevocable licenses granted specifically for that purpose."
I would not be as concerned if you were not making use of such a large amount of names and ideas from the books, films and opposing MMO: Lord of the Rings Online.
Just be aware that this might be deleted/removed from being published due to quite possibly breaking that rule.
But on the other hand:
- I'm not making any direct quotes
- it's a fanfiction. Futhermore - There exists book that works on simmilar schema, it's called The Last Ringbearer.
At least I hope you had fun with the quest.
