PvP Gear in comparison to T2 PvE gear

I would like to ask, PvP gear is similar to T2 PvE gear? I took from T2 helmet and boots and my PvP gear seems better,
How am I supposed to raise my Gscore for T3 if all T2 items are similar to PvP?

Iam GF and as example, Indomitable Warriors Greaves vs Surgeon Greaves

    I would assume you use T2 gear to get the gearcore for T3... and if it doesn't work that way, something is really, really wrong.
    Suggestion: Thank-you package to include Celestial Coin rewards
    This is an open beta. Start treating it like one.

    Are you serious? Pvp gear is terrible for pve as it does not have enough stats except maximum health bonus wchich is pretty much useless.

    Also pvp gear can be considered t1.5 cause it gives more gs than t1 but less than t2.

    Thats what Iam saying, some T2 pieces are very similar to PvP gear

    Are you replacing EVERY piece of PVP armor with T2?

    higher ranked enchantments will get your gs up alot. they are cheap as hell for ranked 6 and some 7's right now. very easy
    also some blues give better gs than some epics....fact

    Also stay out of fireplaces. For no apparently reason they reduce your GS.

    also GS doesnt actually mean its better, its a bad system.

    OK then I should replace every T2 I got with my PvP, thats right?

    The progression I did was this:

    crappy random drop greens -> full PVP set at 60 (really easy to get) -> run a few T1's to upgrade remaining slots -> T2's -> and so on.

    It might be different for your class but for DC the PVP gear is loaded with lifesteal which is pretty much functionally useless at least for how I play the class.

    Like the guy above said, don't ignore enchants as they will help boost your GS quite a bit. Another thing that I didn't know when I first started is you can upgrade the crappy pants/shirt you get given by default for a nice little boost.

    Exactly what I did.
    Right now im buying items for drakes, and auctioning t2 pieces that drop as im not yet going to start castle never so extra +20% output from set bonus doesnt affect me too much.

    Also about enchants its best to use rank 5 as they provide best stat/diamonds ratio.
