access the auction house menu without going through the menu where it says blah blah blah is an upgrade?

    You can talk to the auctioneers directly, near the mail carrier.

    But yeah, the auction button on the toolbar should go directly to the AH, not that useless recommendation system.

    Yes there is a way but you have to do 3 circles around the Protectors Enclave first and then click on whatever you're clicking .

    I was dense, it took me too long to notice the auction people, instead of going to that one guy who always recommends things.

    I didn't know either. There's a guy over by the gear vendors and he takes you to the blah blah blah upgrade page as well.
