Companion Defence Slot

I have a Cleric Companion. If I equip a Defence item onto my Cleric with the following statistics "Owner gains 4% of pets stats", does my character receive 4% of all the Clerics statistics?

What stats are included in the 4% stats?

    You as the owner gain stats. You can check what you get by clicking on the stat button below the equipment/slot area of your companion.

    May I also add that those enchants dont stack, would be nice if they mentioned that before people like me wasted money to test it.

    Oh thank you for saving me the trouble of finding that out the hard way. Now to score enough AD to unsocket the Rank 3 and replace it with a higher one later.
