...is not mainly that threat isn't balanced well. It's that everyone else in your party is running head first into both mobs and bosses, all the cc-skills that throw enemies all over the place and all the enemy attacks and moves that have them teleporting and jumping back and forth. Seriously, no one in this game seems to know or even care about how the GF works and what their role is. For the most part, I as a GF feel completely useless. I keep missing taunts because enemies are flying across the room. I can't build threat on a group with marks and cleave because marks fall off the second I put them up, and mobs never stay in a tight group. I lose threat immediately and there's no way, unless there's a kind enough CW in the group, to gather the enemies in one spot and let me keep them in check. The only time I feel like I'm doing something is when I'm a target dummy for a boss, while the rest of the group has fun killing things. I do love the GF class and I like how challening it is to keep threat on bosses, but I don't like when gameplay mechanics and other classes playstyles directly contradict mine. I also like how it's an action-based game and how I have to move out of the way of attacks or actively block them with my shield, but I don't like how I don't feel like I have any control over where my targets are and where they go. Add to that the mobs that completely ignore taunts and threat-generating skills (namely Zombie Husks and Mimic Treasure Chests).
