What is this "Wipe" I hear everyone talking about?

I'm at work and haven't logged on in a few days. What happened? Also, sorry for making another thread about it. I searched for the answer but did not find it.

    There isn't a wipe. People want one. It didn't happen. You have about what you had 7 hours prior to server going down.
