Plug the exploits and delete the characters of the cheaters and make THEM start over.
The problem now with wiping the servers is that those who already spent money on the Founder's Packs and anything costing Zen would be totally screwed out of their items and money...unless they keep a record of everything each player purchased and also restore that.
You can't open the Zen shop and then just wipe out everything people bought.
Rift is.. not for everyone, and dont keep your hopes up for their f2p model, they havent stated anything yet beside a small box, that shows that f2p will have 2 char slots, reduced bankspace and no access to the new subclasses that came with storm legion upgrade, they havent post anything about gold cap, chat restrictions, ah restrictions, nada.
Am betting for a bad f2p model a la SWTOR

That's for brand new players who have never played before. If you bought the original game then you get way more perks and if you already bought the expansion, you get all the subclasses. They said the gameplay won't be crippled for anyone who decides to play as far as content, drops, etc. You still have to earn all raid gear. Any gear bought in a shop is to change appearance only. Im not gona relevel 2 character to 60 and profession/etc **** that.
Right now you can play to L20 for free, without buying anything. After June 12th it's entirely free.
You leveled 2 characters to 60 in 7 hours?, sounds like you're exploiting the game also....
They have said multiple times, in multiple ways that they aren't wiping, therefore the 7 hour rollback.
Less rage, more read.
