Open Beta is why this happened..

I played to level 40 before I dropped any cash for Zen.. and I only did it for two reasons:
1. It was the only way that I could afford the stupid keys to open Nightmare boxes because AH prices are ridiculously high on anything good and the **** keys do not drop anywhere in the game. (BTW.. no mounts or companions in any of them)
2. Help the developers with funding because I am enjoying the game and they have offered the beta to the public for open play so I threw some cash their way to show support for the game.
I saw the AH fubar this morning and did a quick check to see that the devs knew about it and then went on my way playing. I expected a fix and know that if it was too bad, extreme measures could be taken to fix the issue.
This is what beta testing is for, finding glitches, issues and exploits. I have no problem with whatever they decide to do to the game up to the point of the official version release. I enjoy the leveling and story lines while playing games now and prefer to have a game that is well developed to enjoy. Back in my WOW days it was all about leveling to get to the end content and look good while standing at the AH in Stormwind or Orgrimmar. I do not want that anymore.
If you have invested hundreds of dollars in a beta game, that is your choice and you stand to risk losing some of that investment, if not all of it while the game is in a beta testing environment.
So let them wipe, roll back, ban or even pull all in game currency to zero, I will still play the game because I enjoy the game for what it is.. an escape from reality with stories to tell in the process.

"Beta" is just a nice word of releasing any MMO nowdays since whatever you do people whine on lack of endgame content and this is just a ****ty word-shield so that ignorant fanboys will defend them when horrendous things like this happen.
Take of your flag mate and smell the roses. They don't fix major issues in ages whilst they made sure the Zen market was always up and functioning? Not to mention the help page on their webpage has been nonfunctioning since launch (where once again Zen-purchases has been able'd)
Don't defend a broken wheel, criticism is the only way things change for the better.
