Leave the servers with hyperinflation and merge them as planned.
Start a new server with a clean economy and a fresh start (what many people wanted after the beta even apart from the damage to the economy).
Those happy where they are or with too much invested already can stay there and spend zen.
Those happy with a wipe or desperate for a new economy can start over and spend zen. A win for all.
Quite likely if you just stick on some bandages many screaming for a wipe will leave. If you do a wipe many in the other camp will leave. IMO this proposal - which others have also made in various spots - will produce the fewest cancellations and <holding carrot up quite unsubtlely< the maximum in future zen revenue.
