Hello fellow gamers, I would like to ask some question. Please avoid rage post or insults, state your opinion and concern if you have any, but again please be educate.

1)How do you feel about the current state of the game? especially considering the latest event

For me what just happened is tragic and game braking, i spent 100+ hours in this game with my TR and despite some flaw or personal preference it had potential and I enjoyed it.
But even the remote possibility that someone could walk away with an absurd amount of AD or anything not earned by himself is enough to put me down.

2)Will you continue to play the game knowing that someone could walk away unpunished?

No.

3)Are you playing or desire to? not knowing what's going to happen to the servers? and the exploiters?

No. today i logged in and after seeing the spam in zone i came to the forum, when I find out about the exploit I just logged off with no desire to play at all. And i doubt this will change unless Ill be 100% sure the exploiters wont walk away, even knowing that a wipe could be the only solution to that.

It appears that some people were exploiting since the day "Open Beta" launched and the only comment form a Dev that I have seen in the last week was where he reiterated "No wipes".

I doubt they can catch all the laundered AD and items, so if there isn't a roll-back (as they won't ever do a wipe) then the game economy is going to be broken for quite a while. I will probably just chargeback and play again on a free account in a few months IF the economy recovers.

Then again there is Rift going F2P and ESO too....

    1) I think the state of the game is pretty good, considering it has only been in Open Beta for a couple of weeks. I feel that the systems in the game are fairly dumbed down for a D&D game, but pretty par for the course for an MMO. In general I feel that MMO's are the ****stain of the industry, but this one does some things pretty well, and also has some really good ideas that just need ironing out. Bugs will happen in all software, and people are idiotic to expect otherwise, or a stable economy, but I suppose dumbed down games attract special people.

    2) Yes, I really don't care how others have their fun. Especially if they used things in-game and not external programs. Besides, it's a game. Depends on how much I like the Foundry, the gameplay isn't enough to keep me around by itself, but don't care what others are doing.

    3) Currently working on a Foundry module, will probably play other Foundry modules when I need a break. Don't care about the pseudo-economy drama.

    1) Its a beta. But even so, every game has exploits. Wow had its gold and item sellers, and once (been a while) people deleted graphics files so they could fall thru a raid instance to the final boss bypassing the trash. I do not really care if someone else has whatever extra AD, it affects me not at all, and eventually PWE will ban & bandaid up the problem.

    2) Yep. Its that or only play single player games, cause all the mmos have hax.

    3) I will play when the server comes back up. Why not? I am having fun. Oh wait, I guess its not fun for me because some other guy has all purple gear from cheating, somehow that ruined *everything*. Oh noes.

    Hello eros,

1 I do not really pay attention to the state of the game and here is why. So some exploiter got some AD, and spends it, the economy goes out of whack for a couple of days, it balances itself out. Flood of AD raises prices, but that means you also sell your stuff for higher prices, so it all works out to the same HAMSTER with different prices, the overall state of economy is the same the numbers are just different.

    2. Yes, It is not my business what they do to someone else or their account. I enjoy playing the game so why am I going to let what they did stop me from doing that.

    3. I will be here shortly, I desire to play, again I could care less about the actions of some exploiter. I do not like the way PWE handles a LOT of things, but that is their business not mine. I play another game for open world pvp I like this game for the action adventure.
