How do we go about getting a refund for founders

This isn't a troll thread.

Does anyone know if there are any official channels that one can contact in regards to getting a refund. A couple of exploits in a game are fine and can be dealt with, this latest exploit has been known to Cryptic for over a year now. Hell it was even in their previous game STO. When you are dealing with real world money within the game economy it's downright unacceptable to not have these exploits fixed immediately.

Has anyone had any luck with there CC providers issuing charge backs and such?

You can contact the BBB or go to your Bank and request a charge-back directly. If you paid for the game through Paypal then there are channels there you can use to request for a refund on your purchase.

I'd say wait to see what happens first before doing anything drastic. If you do in the end think you deserve a refund, contact PWE directly through the support system.

I'd honestly prefer to deal with Cryptic/PWE on this issue and have the refund processed in an amicable way. Doing a chargeback is a last ditch effort when more sane avenues for resolution have been exhausted.

I'll be VERY happy if they do a character wipe. That's about the only thing that'll make me stay.

There are a lot of posts on the boards right now about people trying to get refunds. Many have tried to do their refund through Perfect World Entertainment and spent days or more with absolutely no word back. The only successful stories are people who go around Perfect World and go directly to the money-handlers and ethics groups like the BBB to secure their money for them. If you really want a refund, that is your best shot.

    Best of luck to you.

Perfect "Cheaters and Exploiters" World has deleted this post multiple times. I am afraid I will banned for asking "Why did Perfect World allow this exploit to go on unabated for so long, even until all Zen had been purchased from the Zen Exchange and the Zen:AD ratio was back to a maximum of 1:500?" Oh, I just answered my own question!

Its been deleted multiple times because you're an idiot with a poor grasp of business and economics, and I for one sincerely hope you do get banned.

Same , but you aren't going to get your money back by trying to go through PWE politely.

Submitting to your CC company a chargeback for "product did not meet expectations" is going to be the way it works as there's no way PWE proves otherwise there.

I'm hoping they do a complete wipe so I can keep playing ,if not at least will get my money back.

Funny. This is the one thing that will cause me to quit. The only reason I am playing is because I was told 'no wipes.' This game is released (don't say it isn't, check PWE's listing of games, Neverwinter is considered 'Live' not 'Open Beta' by their own website). At this point it's the sheer incompetence of their testing team at fault.

Yeah I am kind of wavering on this as well. From what I've heard the company basically does not answer or act on support tickets. Mine are going to be two weeks old soon, and involve real money.

Not really sure how long to wait before beginning a charge-back procedure?

First and foremost chargebacks are not the proper course for requesting a refund or buyers remorse.
Chargebacks exist for the sole purpose of consumer protection after contacting a company to resolve the issue.

Chargebacks cost both card companies and merchants millions of dollars a year.
Both parties want the proper refund requests to be followed before such action!

Chargebacks can result in punishments of your PWE Account and further legal actions. For further details please contact your card holder regarding "Friendly Fraud Chargebacks."

That being said, if you would like to request a refund please contact support.
