Dodgeball by @jefferjefferson

Short code: NW-DR9U49EM6

Mission Type: Ranged combat with story elements.

Average Duration: 10-20 minutes.

Amount of Combat: Heavy

Starts At: Protector's Enclave, Marketplace Sewer Grate.

Mission Summary: A five round dodgeball tournament! Train with your legendary dodgeball coach and enter the arena and face off against 5 rounds of enemies, with each round consisting of two waves of opponents of increasing difficulty.

Author Tips/Hints: Just about all the enemies are ranged and the arena is set up to favor ranged fighters but melee can play just fine if you can jump over a few traps. I suggest at least two players but it's possible to solo if you don't go charging in.

Start by exploring the training grounds.

I just played and reviewed this quest. I found it quite fun. It was very challenging for me being a melee fighter and solo - I died twice, but that's what TRs do - right.

    A couple suggestions:

When you map in it says "Press F to go to next map". It would be better saying "Press F to go to the dodgeball tournament" or something like that.

Also, it seemed a bit strange going into a sewer to get to the tournament.

As I was melee, I was fighting on their side. At one stage I jumped down the ladder on their side and came up under the boulder on my side - which wasn't a bad place to hide and build up HPs again. Then jumped down the ladder when I was ready to go again. You may want to remove the ladder from their side while a fight is on.

Would you please play and review my quest (details in my sig).

    Cheers
    Kelv
    Please review my quest:

Thanks for the review, and it took me an extra day from the downtime but I played and enjoyed the Blue Tower.

As for your suggestion of the ladders, I can't think of any way to easily fix this. The best way I could prevent this would be to cover both ladders with rocks, but in a group setting someone could easily get trapped inside one of them.

Otherwise I've changed the interact text, but I'm thinking of keeping the entrance the sewer just to give a little feeling of an underground tournament lol.
