Latency / Lag

So, I searched the forums, but according to the search filter, there isn't a single thread about the lag in the game, right now. Either this is a game without lag issues, or the search feature is being "handled."

I heard (through the grapevine) that the reason for the lag is because of a fibre cable in the ocean what needs repairing (or some such nonsense), which is affecting the EU gamers. Well, that's all fine and good, but I'm in the US, so what's the explanation there?

Because I'm not 12, and know enough to build my own computers, I did some research of my own (called task manager) and I've found the problem!

GameClient.exe *32 is at 1,087,132K (note, that's the big K, not the little k) and counting. I'm down to less than 1FPS after 10 minutes of gameplay.

I've already tried compatibility mode, and that hasn't solved it either.

Does anyone else have a suggestion on how to fix it?

Side note, I just changed the launcher to force the US server. Perhaps that will fix the issue...
