Nightmare shield 0-0 damage?

Anyone have a clue why Nightmare Shield have a 0-0 damage added on it?

    I bought a nightmare shield from the AH, but then i try to change my current shield, to the appearance fo the nightmare shield, it wont let me drag and drop it into the appearance slot.. it acts like its not the same type of item, but they are both shields

    also, i cannot dye the nightmare shield, it gives a message "weapons cannot be dyed!"

    anyone know how to fix this?
