I didn't really have much of an issue soloing him on my TR at around level 50-51. I used Lashing Blade, Bait & Switch, and Shadow Strike. I stayed in stealth using shadow strike and bait & switch to extend the duration as long as possible and burned down the Rimehound asap with Lurkers Assault. Then I kited the adds around and used pots until Shadow Strike was up so I could restealth. I got low on health a few times, but didn't die.
I was level 49 when I killed it. I don't remember having any difficulty. My healer companion went down like 8 times during the fight and it was annoying having to get them back up over and over. They seemed to think standing on top of the hound when the big red circle appeared was a good idea. In other words just like every other boss fight.

You can run him back to the room where the traps are and bring his health down then run him back to main room and kill him
Can't kill him Rime Hound? This is probably one of the easiest story bosses.
If player is not strong enough to simply spank him to death after killing both of his adds, he can be easily lured to the previous room and killed by using traps. He will follow you through traps when kited.
