these ppl need to eat pay bills just like you do why do I see thread after thread about this should be free that pw is greedy. Companies make a product whatever that may be and sell it to make money they have to cover overhead which include things like rent or mortgage, electricity, gas, water and sewer, waste disposal, equipment and employee costs not to mention advertising these things take money and games like this is how they get that money no zen store =no game. On top of that they offer you a way to get zen without having to spend money and they still get criticized very sad. As for cheaper prices in the zen store how many of you would be willing to take a pay cut or work for free?
If you don't like the prices either keep playing and use the ad exchange to get zen or stop complaining the zen store isn't going anywhere

The store is a bit overpriced right now. I know NW is a F2P game, however, making the prices of Zen fairly expensive will not bring more people in. It does the opposite. More people would come in to buy, and often, in larger amounts if it were a bit cheaper.

Now, I'm not saying get rid of it completely--I'm saying to reduce the prices, or give more Zen for your buck. The way it is right now, would only help the company in the short term. Long term, people are not going to be paying for this vanity stuff. I on ocassionally treat myself to something, however I'm getting to a point where I won't be paying for anything, unless they bring the prices down a bit, or have sales. It would only help them. People will buy more for less. I don't know why some companies think making things fairly expensive will give them more revenue.

Examples: Tera's Cash Shop (besides the rental mounts. That's ridiculous), Steam's sales on Holidays, Summer, Christmas, etc... there are a lot of better routes to go with the cash shop.

Tera's mount is about $20 for a rather interesting one. I think they should have an option to buy one for one character at $20, and $40 for all characters. Perhaps $30.

as long as the people who are buying outnumber the people who aren't, these prices will stay.

Best thing to do is to limit yourself to 15 bucks a month and treat it as a sub based game.

    It is all your characters.

I fear your post went from positive to angry troll pretty quickly.

Try to focus on positive next time, and not give light to people who don't like the overpriced stuff.

OP, what you are missing is that these are virtual goods - whether they sell 1 or 1000, it costs them the same initial investment to put said item on the store. As such, they could charge more reasonable prices and make up whatever they lost on individual sales w/ quantity. Charging $10 for a bag is way too high - but if you sold them for $1-2 a piece, you'd probably sell more than 5-10 times as many. The difference is that you'd also have a lot less people barking at you that your prices are too high.

You price most of your stuff at the impulse-purchase-price of $1-2, and people will not only be more likely to buy them, but they'd likely be happy to do so again.

I could see some really high end items going for $10, but that'd have to be some real worthwhile stuff!

You should send them your resume. Seeing that you seem to have more knowledge about how things work that the developers of a tried and true F2P model (this isn't their first rodeo), I'm sure they'd love for you to come in and show them how to make more money, since it's so clear that you know what you're talking about. FYI, this is sarcasm in case you weren't sure.
