Buy the blue stone or wait for a purple?

I know some of the cash shop and diamond items that were available during the closed betas are 'hidden' at the moment until pw decide to release them. For example originally we only had the green stone of might available and then they released the blue stone of allure. Was there a purple version of the stone or cat companion like that? Am wondering if I should wait or go ahead and get the blue stone.

    The real benefit you get from the stones or cat are in the items you put on them, not so much their innate stats. Since the blue ones already have the maximum slots available, you won't see a huge gain for 5 more ranks.

    In theory once the companion books are available you can raise your blue to a purple anyway without buying a new companion.
