Will they be adding this in? Since Champions Online does (can't recall if STO does or not) you would think that they will. Many other games have it too so you'd think they would have noticed it was a popular feature and put it in.
If they add this in maybe I can finally play all the skirmishes instead of leveling out of the skirmish level range before the queue works.
I was grouping with a friend the other day and we were only a couple levels away from each other but it was enough of a difference that we couldn't queue in 3 different skirmishes I believe. His were too low for me, and mine were too high for him. When he got a level of course I did too and suddenly we found he could do the last one I could but now I couldn't. Just a silly system to have such small level ranges on skirmishes.
Same with dungeons, although at least you can physically walk into the dungeon entrance.

This exist for City of Heroes which is nice. I can "downlevel" or "uplevel" needed for instance I run with my friends.
We should be able to do that also when joining "lower level queue" you just auto level to the max allow (i.e if instance is 11-19 then downlevel to 19) without having to "pre-form" the group and enter it via the actual entrance.

It was mentioned by a dev prior to Open Beta they are working on it. But that was weeks ago and without a "Roadmap" no idea if it just got squashed or what
Unfortunately, if they dont solve that problem then that alone will severely harm player levels.
The game got lucky because so many people exploited and rushed to 60 so they have plenty of groups at this time, though composition is a problem and most of them dont know their classes (as theyve been playing for a week or less, and generally head to the forums to cry nerf or overpowered)
Im split at the moment, i have two freinds below my level i cant play with, and two above who i cant play with, leaving me and another just stuck in the middle.

Yeah there are a number of games that use some sort of sidekick/mentor/up-level/down-level system. It's such a nice feature to have. You'd think it would be one of those features put into the "How to make an MMO" bible.
It would allow people to group with their lower level friends without making content trivial and it would allow people to queue for lower level skirmishes and dungeons. No more trying NOT to level! lol

Ugh, I hear ya. I currently have one character slot sitting with a level 10 character that I can't touch because I don't want to level it without my girlfriend who has limited time to play. My wizard I got to level 35 fairly quickly as I had some vacation time I was relaxing with but then I had to set him aside for a while to wait for my other friends to catch up.

Please review my campaign and I'll return the favor.
Frankly i think this needs to be prioritised. It was in STO and CO it really needs to be here too.
