So I'm curious whether or not it's currently worthwhile to use Tenebrous Enchantments. They can do up to 3% of your max hp in Necrotic damage with each proc on Greater Tenebrous. I believe you can slot up to around 6 of these into the different Offense slots: Main Hand, Off Hand, Neck, Ring, Ring, Shirt. I had seen a post by a GWF forsakenlich detailing the proc rate and considerable damage numbers, but I'm still confused about their effectiveness versus Power, Crit, or Recovery Enchants that are similarly priced.
Tenebrous seems like it would only really be optimal for AoE classes to further increase their proc chance so that means CW and GWF are probably the only viable choices to use these currently.
Even then, in PvE T2+ content, CW seemingly should focus primarily on playing the Controller and let his teammates focus on DPS, so perhaps Recovery enchants would be more worthwhile? The only challenge in PvE is boss fights with add phases, so adequate and constant control seems to be much more important than DPS from the CW. You would be neglecting nearly 1k+ in Recovery in choosing Tenebrous over 6 Rank 7 Silvery Enchants.
In PvP, AoE currently doesn't play a huge role as most fights are focused on picking a single person off as quickly as possible. High bursty damage through crits would seemingly outplay Tenebrous procs, right?
Ultimately, my question comes down to.. should I use Tenebrous enchants on my CW or should I save my 6 Greater Tenebrous for a future true AoE Striker or even the GWF?
No, a lesser tene is not better than a rank 7, if you want to use tene then you want to buy 6-7 G-tenes and then assign them, using anything less is a huge waste of time and money.
unless you're sitting on more than 10 mil AD, I wouldn't recommend it.

Would it be better on TR or a GWF? Should I just use it to make a PvP only weapon?
