AH Bidding on items with NO starting or CURRENT bid = AD Dump

I was bidding on enchanted keys using the auction house and I noticed that when I was bidding on the ones that didn't say Current bid or even Starting bid(you know the ones that are blank beside the number) My diamonds where getting taken out of my backpack but the page didn't refresh to show I'm the current bidder & it doesn't even show up in the current bids tab.
So basically the AH was just eating up my diamonds not marking me as the current bidder at all & I was able to bid on the same key that didn't have the current or starting bid label multiple times and still get the diamonds deducted each time.
