A story driven quest, with a fun and challenging amount of combat, that takes you into the world of Planescape, carefully hand crafted by me.

I had to give up on one of the cave maps because the numbers were so whacked. It made it impossible to place NPC's. I literally couldn't get them placed in the correct spot ever. Even using loc_vec to get the correct coordinates didn't work. The Y value was always messed up and they were stuck floating midair on rocks no matter how I adjusted them.

for an NPC, as long as the value is higher than the object you are tryin gto sit them on, they should be on the ground.
My quest was deleted in July of 2013. There were no issues, it had not violated any rules. Was deemed a bug. That quest is still missing.

Yeah, that is true for every map except the one I tried using.

What shorlong says is mostly true. I have come to find that if the default level of the piece is lower than the higher parts, then you have to place your NPC in the higher area and adjust their Y coordinates. I have come to find that a Y coordinate of about 10 should be enough to get them to the correct height.

However, I do not know the correct negative value should you be placing them in a basement type setting. The same rule applies (although, I'd imagine what Shorlong said will work for basements as the character should start off high enough to just fall into place.)

I actually did this in my quest. In order to get the NPC's spawned in a cellar, I just put the value at -7 and when you turn around, they're standing there.
