Serious threat issue with the Cleric

I didn't think it was that bad when I heard people talk about it. Now that I have experienced it, Clerics have some serious threat issues. You cast one AOE heal and the entire room is on you, no matter how long you wait for the tank to build up threat of his own. You still pull threat like a fat kid loves cake. It wouldn't be so bad if we could actually cast our heals while kitting the hordes of mobs that want to kill you. No, we have to stop in our tracks and do a stupid animation just to cast our heals.

Can someone from PWE or Cryptic confirm if the current threat from Clerics is intended? If not, are you working on a fix? I've tried the 20% threat reduction on heals. Doesn't make a difference whatsoever.

I see no issue with it whatsoever.

You sound like you never played a cleric. I got a lvl 60 cleric and its a pain doing T2 epic dungeons, when I cast one heal I get instantly killed when the whole room of mobs descend upon me like I committed a great sin.

You're doing it "wrong". Get another cleric and stand in a double astral. It makes you completely immortal on trash pulls. I queued with 2 DCs today and we actually got a third one randomly. Yes we had 3 overlapping astrals. It was completely hilarious.

I'm aware of that but its not a real answer. Astral shield stacking will most likely be the first thing that gets nerfed for us when the hammer comes around. What will happen then?

You hope that GFs get a threat and maybe a survivability bump at the same time so neither class explodes on pull. :D

Not to mention that doesn't address everything before Lv 50.

I don't remember anything before level 50 being that brutal. Once GFs can actually pretend to hold agro as tact/defender specs low level dungeons should be easier.

REMOVE THREAT FROM HEALING. Done. Fixed. Why is this not already done several patches into the game? then we can look at whether we need to buff GF or change anything else. i cant understand how they are nerfing and balancing out classes when threat is still broken. they dont know what's broken when battles are going in a flawed fashion
MAKE MARK HIT ENEMY AND ALL ENEMIES AROUND IT.
MAKE THREATENING RUSH A 2-3 SECOND TAUNT THAT STILL MARKS THE SAME WAY.
    REMOVE HEALING AGGRO.

Bad players will always be bad, your group needs to understand the importance of adds in this game. Its not the clerics fault, you're correct about the threat. Its not the tanks fault, the tank has no group threat management (that I know of, i play a cleric) it's the DPS' fault when the cleric dies. So often I've been hammered and I see the DPS all attacking the 'big' target, its the little guys (those adds) that wipe your group ... every time. DPS (namely wiz, gwf with decent AOE) need to watchthe healer ALWAYS. Thats just a fact, instead they focus on the 'big' guy madly trying to win the dps battle against themselves ... thats when I generally just leave mid dungeon, dickheads.
