Twice yesterday and once today I bought something from a vendor and received the wrong item. I beleive I was only charged for the wrong item, luckily. The first time it happened, I was purchasing 20 Scrolls of Identification. I checked the price, which was a total of 900 AD. I clicked the purchase button and in my inventory appears 20 Lesser Scrolls of Identification. Not long after the same happened when I purchased 10 Religion Kits and received 10 Arcana Kits instead. And last time was when I purchased a Worn Infantry Weapon from the proffessions supplier, in which case I got something else (can't remember at the moment and I sold it back immediately). If I had bought the wrong item once by mistake, that'd be understandable. But as I said, I was very well aware of the price for the Identification Scrolls, which clearly gives away that something went wrong. And when it happens more times after that, it is clearly a bug and not my own doing. I have searched around for other threads on this and I have reported a ticket on it, but I haven't heard or seen anything. Am I the only one who has experienced this? When it's little things I buy I don't mind (well, I do, but it's not a huge problem). But it makes me extremely hesitant to purchase anything more valuable as long as there's a risk I might not get what I intended.
It just happened again, this time I bought 16 Scrolls of Identification and got 16 runestones instead worth 2k AD each. I just lost over 20k AD. I want answers!

Had this happen with healing potions where I've been given 20 of the 2 sizes smaller by the vendor outside the market (opposite Rhix)
i had it happen to me as well and have found a temporary way to avoid this just purchase 1 item of what u want so u know your going to get what u pay for then u can buy in bulk not a perfect solution but avoids wasting to much AD or coin hope they fix this soon
Ever hear of a thing known globally and worldwide as a "para-graph"?
Re-edit your OP so it looks like it was written by someone with at least some sense of writing, which will improve readability, which will entice people to actually read it. Then the answer will flow like milk and honey.

Yes.
really.
They will.
Wow, such an unnecessary post. I agree that it could have used a bit more space, but it's not THAT much text and if you actually read it you'd notice that my grasp of the english language and writing is pretty good for not being a native english speaker. If you have nothing to add to the discussion, then keep it shut and mind your own business.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having these issues, although it pains me that others suffer as well. I sent a ticket again, last one disappeared. Are they even reliable at all, or do GM's ignore you in this game? I reckon there are a lot of issues to handle right now, so here's hoping this isn't put on the low-priority list.
i went to purchase a cat and got the helm of the impenetrable bastion instead (1.5m ad wasted) tooltip clearly stated i were buying a cat but no i got this ****... filled up a ticket i'm on the verge of quitting already if i cant get a refund...
I managed to notice this earlier before I spent my gold. I was trying to get the level 60 mending kit, and before I hit purchase, I noticed the amount way too low. That's because the vendor was trying to sell me the lowest heal potion. In order to not have that happen, I had to make sure that the very top left item showing was the one I wanted. It didn't matter that I clicked on the right one, the right one had to be in that position.
Hm, I will have to try that. I don't buy anything from the Wondrous Bazaar anymore. And I buy skill kits one at a time. I've had it happen several times after I started this thread as well.
What makes me furious is that there has been absolutely no interest from a developer in this. No answer on my ticket since 9 days ago, not even a response here to show that they know of the problem.
This bug still exists, and now I've noticed it also applies when spending celestial coins. I double-clicked the Professions Pack and received a Large Party Popper instead...
The problem seems to be that another item in the inventory is highlighted, and even though you double-click the correct item and the dialogue window shows the correct item, you will receive and pay for the highlighted item instead. Making sure what you want to purchase is highlighted first seems to prevent this from happening.
Still, it's a bug that, if you're not careful enough, can be very frustrating, and seeing as how Cryptic doesn't give two ****s about refunding or even replying to tickets regarding this, it needs to be fixed.
I have the same problem, was gona buy 20 greater id scrolls, amount window opened took 20 and it said 2500 ad. Good hit the buy button and what do i recive? 20 Eldritch runestone 1's thats 40.000 ad gone! Have made a ticket but no reply. If they want this game to go somewere they should start answering to the problems that players report. And it isnt that hard to refund ad and take the items back.
I have had the same issue. I was trying to purchase an Appaloosa horse from the mount vendor, and even got a message asking "Are you sure you want to buy Appaloosa Horse?", but when I confirmed the purchase a Palomino horse was placed in my inventory instead. I have also tried buying a Wonderous Coffer of Augmentation using celestial coins, and gotten a Large Party Popper instead. Very disappointing, "Perfect World."
This also happens on the AH. Sometimes an item is at a point where I'm not going to bid any more on it (too expensive, etc). The past week or so, I've had several times where I was trying to bid on one thing and discovered that I had bid on something else (always expensive stuff, too). It's aggravating to say the least.

Yep, it's happened to me several times. most recently this afternoon trying to buy 20x greater ID scrolls I received 20x rank 1 eldritch runes (40kAD). Not happy. It's the second time I've received runes, the first when I was trying to buy 20x normal ID scrolls.
GM ticket raised.
It wouldn't be a problem if we could get refunds for accidental purchases (whether it's a genuine mistake or a coding bug). For example, if there was a "refundable items" tab for recent purchases, it would make things effortless. At least on our end. But then again, if we could just solve the problem ourselves the devs might never be made aware of the issue. It would be nice if we could get some word on whether the QA/Complaints Department is functioning as intended :P
