Hey all.
Ive been waiting a long time for a good quest editor for MMOs. I had hoped that Star Trek Onlines would be the answer, and while it was good for its time, compared to Neverwinters Foundry, the Star Trek Foundry is just...naff. Now, there are a lot of tutorials out there showing how the basics of the foundry work. There are many walkthroughs that show how to make a basic quest with simple objectives and how to make very basic maps. That is not what this thread is going to be about.
What this thread is going to be about is more advanced concepts. Advanced map making, how to get certain effects such as enemies that attack in waves in order to create defender style dungeons, how to make complex dialogue trees. Basically, how to exploit the editor to make things in it that are simply awesome, but beyond the basics of the editor.
To this end, we look to you, the veteran foundry community, to provide a look at ideas and concepts that can make for a great map and adventure. So please, if you have any tips for others, little tricks you have learned, please feel free to post them on this thread. Try to include pictures and details on how you got that effect.
