All this talk about the exploits and such destroying the economy i can agree with. the time and effort some have put in the game since this "OPEN BETA" might be more valuable to some than others.
all i can say is that they cannot wipe the servers with the amount of zen spent on characters from players..
But i have thought of an option that might be viable.
Wipe the servers and just replace all zen purchases used in Neverwinter back to said account that bought it.
your not losing the stuff you bought technically then. nobody would require any refund for lost zen on the wipe.

Many people only signed up to start playing the game because they were promised no wipes. Yes leveling is fast but a wipe would be a breach of faith and cause a mass exodus of 40-50% of paying customers by one of the pro-wipe forumites own polls by either driving people away from the game or making them decide to never ever ever again drop one cent into the game. Companies exist to make money, this would lower the amount of money pwe makes so it won't happen ever, get over it.
People actually think this game is going to launch like it hasn't already. Reality here bros, it has already launched and no they're not wiping anything.

That's not 40-50% of paying customers. It's 40-50% of people who actually read the thread and bothered to click on the poll.

A Wipe after the declared No more Wipes will Destroy the game. I've spent a lot of time leveling a lot of characters I intended to keep permanently delete them and I'm not coming back, In fact I'll demand a refund on my founders pack and reverse the charges on my credit card.
The exploit issue IS a problem.
What would be better is an AD wipe, all astral diamonds are wiped. Founder packs AD are reimbursed. This solves most of the exploit problems. Sure the gear from the boss farming glitches is still around. But the game just started eventually that gear becomes obsolete and with so little AD in the game they wont be able to sell it for a while.
If Possible a wipe of all Duplicate Purple items on a character would help things, or just make it you can only ever have one of any purple item.

There's not going to be a wipe so no point in discussing it at all.

I would not recommend a Wipe. Roll Back sure, but not a wipe.
Making a new shard carrying over characters with a limited amount of zen/items but also carrying story progress, zen related items (bags & bank space etc.) across.
Seeing as the 3 current shards are apparently planed t merge to a single shard.
Common sense is hard to come by around here it seems..

As a matter of fact in some cases you could "lose stuff you bought" in the potential case of Nightmare Lockboxes. Things are as they are. People need to make the best of it or find somewhere else they enjoy being more. People were told no wipes so if they now change their mind expect people to flip their lids.
I'll certainly walk, and I know a few of my friends will as well, if there is a wipe. I'd definitely want to be compensated for the ~$80 I put into the game that will have been wiped out as well.
I don't want a wipe. I've put $70 into this game, I don't have a level 60 yet, and I haven't used any exploits. There are people accusing anyone who wants a wipe as being an exploiter, and that is just not right. I don't want a wipe because I have put a lot of time into my characters, and throughout the closed beta as well, and I've already done all the low level content. I don't want to have to do it all again for a 6th or 7th time. If put into the position where that was my only choice, I would just quit the game, and demand my money back, as would very many others.
People talking about how there is a large influx of diamonds, well what did you think would happen after several months of gameplay? There was going to be that many diamonds eventually anyway, now they just got here earlier.
I agree with what GW2 did when they had an exploit. Ban anyone who obviously abused it, like a screenshot going around on a couple posts of a guy with a massive overflow of items who had been exploiting. And yes, banning for exploits is perfectly OK, as exploiting is straight up against the rules. Offering the same deal GW2 did would be fine as well, if they chose to, where having the exploited gear/currency deleted and apologizing would let you keep your account, but just this once.

I can bet, PW can insure we get our RL$ back for a new start.
Once again wipe it!

I propose a 2 week rollback!
This is an open beta. Start treating it like one.
