I ran a sentinel build last night and I really enjoyed it. However, the threat generation is not enough to keep aggro from a Trickster Rogue on a boss. That makes it difficult on many fights, fortunately, we just let our TR tank. It's excellent on trash management and we found that our T1 & T2 clears completely MUCH quicker, but probably no quicker than a Offensively specced Guardian run would go. Our party makeup was GWF, 2 CW, 1 TR, 1 Cleric.
I'll keep the build because I think threat gen will get some love at some point soon.

I like posts which contain nothing but a Video link - not.
Yeah the real Problem with Sentinel isn't the def but the Aggro just like GF.
I can't tell from the first minute of the video, but what class passives were you running? No comment on any exploits etc. etc. because I don't really care, I just wanna know what passives you think really help the Sentinel?
EDIT:
Also, your audio is too quiet. If you're using a program that supports ADR or independent volume control I'd suggest using it. Understandable, but dayum I had to crank it WAY up just to hear you. Thought there was no sound at first.

Well, I ran the build extensively last night and I really enjoyed it. Again, the issue is just with threat. I need one snap aggro ability, big bads can kill a cleric too quickly if I can't get control of mob and hold it. It's one thing for overgeared rogues to pull off a tank, it's quite another when I outgeared him. Just could not reliably hold aggro in any case. However, as the fight initiator, with the extra defense, invulns from feats, and come and get it, I was able to get the part started and we rolled through several dungeons without feeling like we were missing the tank.

I've tanked spider without sentinel spec and with a single Cleric. Really though, the last 15 minutes of the video is just you whacking away at a bugged boss, who wants to watch that?

You posted a video of yourself abusing an exploit?!? Genius!
Was going to say the same thing.
