The Frozen Heart Kiting Adds Question

I recently did epic Frozen Heart and was having a bit of trouble keeping ALL of the adds on me. I run around the room throwing Astral Seal on boss when I run by and Forgemasters If I have enough pips. When dash is up i use Sunburst and then immediately dash as well while kiting/chugging pots. I was having problems with the Blue Golems not joining the train behind me and am not sure what else I can do. I do not use any threat reduction passives or feats. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

not every single mob is gonna stick to you there's bound to be 1-2 loose. Also, use healing word for kiting and toss it on people. Use your pip to lay down astral shield for the dps.

The adds there are fairly easy to kite for the most part, as they tend to stop to cast/hit you with big stuff when they catch up to you, which then gives you some distance from them again. The ice golems especially, as they stop to cast a big knockdown around them as soon as they reach you. I tend to just run around casting Sun Burst, Brand of the Sun and Astral Seal whenever I have time to build divinity, and Astral Shield underneath whoever is tanking the main boss when I come around to their side. The only important thing is to have someone with ample DPS running around killing the archer mobs, otherwise they will kill you.

Healing yourself can probably be done largely with Healing Word, but I don't use that, so I just drink potions. And I don't use any threat reducing feats/passives either, which is all good, because I want the adds to chase me and not someone else. That's your job on that boss. :)

Healing Word should be renamed "Healing Taunt."

Throw Healing Word on anyone with aggro and the enemy should come running. Use the "healing gives divinity" class feature (name?) then AS and SB. Use divinity to throw AS for the melee and SB just as you describe. Make sure you remove sooth if you run it.

The only problem I've had kiting in that boss fight is there was a CW who thought he would "help" by using CC on the mobs... That didn't go so well for him. If people hit your mob train it's likely to end badly and if they hit the golems/trolls at all it's going to make you getting aggro harder. Make sure your group understands this and Healing Taunt should be all you need.

The the best and ultimate "threat" practice dungeon is Pirate King epic version. I found out that best tactic is to run in circle on the edge of Astral Shield, casting heals, sunburst and chains. All mobs including boss was on me on the end!

Am I the only who finds himself leaning in the direction that you kite? =)

Try to keep Astral Seal up on the boss.
Make a boss detour to drop Hallowed Ground every time it pops (make sure to have enough Stamina to escape after you do).
I use Divine Fortune on all the kiting fights so you get power for those Healing Words and AS. I drop normal AS on the boss. Save my Divine Power charges for Forgemasters on boss.

Pretty much how I do it. Use a very wide circle and cast healing word on the archer killer every pass as well as shield on the boss.
