A question about chat - team

Sometimes, not always, when grouping with people, underneath the chat window another box comes up with Team. I am pretty sure it is for voice. Anyway, it is pretty annoying as it takes away space from the chat window. Is there a way to get rid of it, stop it from happening at all?

    wondering the same thing today. joined a group that kept switching instances together. i have 5+ stacks of "team" chat under my chat. i cant even see the actual chat anymore unless i wanna have chat scrolled all over my party's health. kind of a annoying bug.

    EDIT: Found out a temporary solution. go to Audio in the options menu, Voice tab and disable the voice chat. Gets rid of the stacking team chat bars but also all voice, though i never use it anyways.
