Character history not saving?

I'm not entirely sure if this is an actual bug or not, but I'm going to post this here. I'm not hugely into role playing, but I decided to write up a flavor text description about my character and to add it under "Edit Profile." However, every time I've clicked the "Ok" button after being finished, the text just disappears from the box and I don't get the chat notification that I've changed my profile like I get when I change my title. Is this a bug or is there a character limit on how much info you can include in the character history?

    It's a bug. At first I had some stuff written in it, then I tried to change the profile text by adding more sentence and it did not save. Then I delete the text completely and clicked on saved and notice a change, but and now my profile text remains empty and text can not be added in.
