So a bit back I got the quest to go to the mailsmithing shop (At least that's what I THINK it is) and then when i talked to the shop keeper the quest just ended, didn't really explain anything about professions, I would really like to start getting those done since I have like 3 days worth of materials sitting around in my inventory.
If anyone has a guide or could easily explain it hear I will E-Hug you, or an E-Handshake if you aren't into that kinda thing.

After you talked to the professions vendor you now have the ability. Hit 'N' in game to bring up the professions window.
All your professions will be listed on the left, click on one to open it up. First task should be to hire your first worker (takes all of 5 seconds).
Once you have a worker for that profession you can start on tasks. Tasks require at least one worker and sometimes materials. They are pretty self-explanatory. There's a Beginners Guide up in general discussions,n ut I don't think it's been stickied yet.
Actually, you can start crafting as soon as you hit level 10th. The quest is more like a mini introduction, gives you some mats, and shows you where the vendor is.
Here is few good hints I'm going to give you:
1. Leadership is for some quick money and chest, and makes for a good starting profession.
2. You can have as many professions as you like but I would stick with two at first. With the second being the one that complements your class.
3. Start recruiting crafters and get at least 5 before seven level of crafting. At seventh you will upgrade your crafters to rank two and that consumes four of your crafters. They take 18 hours to complete the task so do this before you exit the game for the night. Plan for rank three the same way (I can remember when you can get them)
