Basic gameplay questions

How do I gain skills? For example, Dungeoneering, Nature, etc. Are the skills gained by using the kits? Also is there a resource beyond the forums where one could look up things like this?

Thanks for helping the less learned.

    Each class comes with 1 Skill, to be able to loot the other ones, you need to have the apropriet Kit in your inventory space. The Kit only has a 75% chance of working, so you may need to try multiple times.

    not sure about resources besides forums, I havent seen any.
