I absolutely love your game, it brings a different and somehow fresh experience to the MMO market, and I have yet to figure out exactly why it is so fun. With that being said, I read a lot of posts of people talking about how this or that is broken, and I have seen this time and time again in many MMO launches. There is one thing that all these games did wrong that you have a chance to do very right.

I am asking if you guys could produce a video, or even a stickied post on what role you intended each class to fill in a party while fighting a boss in an epic dungeon. No hints, or tricks on how to beat the encounter, but a general description on what you intended each role to fill in the group. For example, the cleric is an off-tank that we built for this, so we gave them HAMSTER as tools as solutions.

I don't think this is a irrational request, and I have never seen this actually done. What this will do is make a world of difference, and folks might stop trying to play a role in a group that you did not intend and make the game more enjoyable for us all, kind of like an instruction manual.

To be honest, I want to beat the hardest content you can throw at me "the right way" but I want to at least have an idea on what you intended in the first place, I have been playing different MMO's for about 15 years now and I have already realized that my 60 cleric plays better contrary to what I am used to, and I like it.

So again, please do one thing above these other games, and create a video or a developer post detailing what role you intended each class to fill in a group during epic boss fights it may stop a lot of bad feedback from folks that are misunderstanding what you intended in the first place.

I think the reason MMO teams don't do this is so the player base can come up with interesting ways to play the class on their own. Exploring and figuring out what is the best way for you to play your class is part of the fun of leveling up and playing.

The sad thing is...it would seem people have forgotten this which is why we see all the clones within days of someone posting what works for them. No one wants to explore anymore. The end game is not the end all and be all of an MMO. Part of the fun is the journey to get there. :)
