Especially since GF gear costs like 1/4 as much as gear for any good class. One piece of TR gear buys you a full set of GF gear. :p

Uh... who runs these abominations "for fun"?

Maybe if you play a DPS class. For a cleric, there is nothing fun about running around in circles putting hots on yourself while you wait for the CD on your knockback to come back so you can knock back the trail of 30+ adds running after you for 1 second before you have to start the kite again.

LMFAO...So true so true. I hate my Cleric after the dungeon I ran this morning, yes I mean literally RAN the whole time. Fun Fun! I'm laughing so hard right now I have tears running down my face and I play a Cleric, It sucks so bad all I can do is laugh at this point.

You should just need on everything, sell it, and get your GF gear from the AH. It's what everyone is doing these days.

Eh I have ~12k GS anyway. I just meant that now that I don't really need anything from t1, I enjoy it more :D

I always preach to roll need on all. The loot system is being looked at but in the meantime perhaps you should not think of any drop as your. I know its right there on your screen and it looks so close. It even has your class on it, its right there. But its not yours, not yet.

If you win it then its yours certainly but that is going to be rare with everyone rolling need on everything. So the only time you can be certain that it is 100% yours is when you buy it from the AH. But wait all this stuff costs crazy diamonds. How are you supposed to make enough diamonds to get the things that you need?

Well when rolling on all you too are getting stuff. Stuff that is not strictly speaking for you but somewhere out there, there is someone who want to make it theirs. They are refreshing their AU searches in the desperate hopes that you will list it. And when you do, BAM! A market economy is born.

So you sell other people’s stuff to get the stuff you need which is being sold by the some of the people who got it from you. Even though it wasn’t technically yours at the time. That’s how this works. Nothing is yours until the auctioneer says sold.

Now you could trade for what you want at the time or just offer what you won to the person who needs it and hope to start a ground surge of optimistic egalitarianism. But you might be better off selling it for the diamonds. Good will won’t buy you that epic but it will be for sale nonetheless.

So roll on all and remind your party to do that same. Sell ftw.

Guess I'm just a nice person. If it isn't for my class, I don't roll on it. If however, a little bit into the run I see someone is rolling need on everything, my friends and I will make a judgement call at that time and do our rolls accordingly. I am looking forward to something being changed on the system, but for now, I hope more people begin to "play nice" when it comes to rolling. (Yeah, not gonna happen, I know...)

I guess I am the only person in this game that actually hits pass on things that are not my class. Good for me.

It's my group's common practice to wait before rolling if something we can use drops. If I'm with my rogue friend and some wizard rolls on a dagger, all of us roll need to give our friend a better chance. Sad when 2-3 of us still lose the roll heh.

Within another week you'll probably be able to buy a level 60 epic with the amount of AD you get from invoking, so I wouldn't worry too much about missing that roll. :p

You can do a full set of pvp epics in ~6-8 hours.

Yeah, but you couldn't pay me to PvP for 6-8 hours. I'd rather stay in quested greens.

I haven't looked recently but I assume PVP epics are selling for peanuts at this point too.

You mean the level of play that see's the most repeats and has the largest community over time has the lowest priced items?

Please, tell me more about economics.

I enjoy it with a couple people queuing together but yeah, I'm done solo queuing.

Most leveling gear does cost more then level 60 gear. As the end game gear has been farmed a lot already and the items have spammed the AH making more of them, thus making them cost less and less.

I leveled my 2nd toon yesterday and I went from new level 60 to having 9.7k GS within 20 minutes and I only spent 100k AD.

The same thing is true of WoW. Twink gear often costs more than level cap gear.

Only good twink gear. Not run of the mill junk. And run of the mill blue leveling junk certainly doesn't sell for more than epic level cap loot.
