Should I make a drow TR or a 1/2ling TR? What is your reasoning?

I'd say drow. Gods knows I'd be one if I could!

I've played a dark elf / drow rogue in every game since Everquest I, back in the day, so I had to make one of those... but that said, I love the tiny little halfling. I also love the Tiefling's look --- especially the way her tail will twitch as she does the little waiting combat "bounce"...

It's shame there are no 1/2-elf 1/2-lings.

Drow if you have the ability to choose. Halfling?
I wouldn't want to be one even if it had +2 str, +2 Dex and +2 Cha.

Would you rather be a gnome? A little garden gnome? Lol.
The only thing I don't like about 1/2-lings is they can't see in the dark. Same with humans. I never play a human just for that reason. :(
But what I can't figure out is why I WILL play a halfling. That doesn't make any sense does it?
By the way I like gnomes too. But at least they have low light-vision which doesn't mean squat when you have no light source because your trying to creep up on someone. Lol.
But we have no gnomes right now :(
This post is no way intended to start another darn gnome quest.

I dunno, Gnomes don't bother me as much. They are theyre own race.
Dwarves as well. Halflings just seem to me inexplicably present smaller humans.

I read somewhere, a long time ago, that halflings were described as looking like human children. If you get rid of the slightly pointed ears I can see that.

It is a shame there are no gnomes. It is FR; gnomes are pretty common.

Next race, most likely drow. Pretty obvious in a lot of areas.

I play a halfling rogue. Epic class/race selection, imo. Their increased deflection helps to survive and nothing beats a birdmask with a pirate hat icon.

    WTB Big-Giant Robot Camels, tbh...

This. In LOTRO, I always enjoyed having the OP heal of a Human Burglar, but I always wished I went Hobbit in the back of my mind, so here I'm halfling. I'm gonna be gearing up for maximum deflection soon to give it a try, found Life Steal useless even at 10%. That's in a solo setting, mind you.

    Human or Half-Orc.

Human for the extra 3 feat points, which mean a lot in the last tier of Heroic Feats (lets you get 5/5 for 20% longer stealth and 3 points for Disciple of Strength).

    Half-Orc for the racials.

Or, roll what you want because you like the race. :P

Right now, running a Tiefling. Looking forward to Drow eventually. Was sorely tempted to roll a Halfling named Olive Russkettle but figured that would get genericed.

    IMHO:
-1/2ling for PVP (small *******, nice racials PVP wise)
-Orc/drow/Tief for PVE (1/2ling killing dragons is stupid, nice racials PVE wise)
