I'm trying to get my patrols to step it up a bit and not walk about as if there are no adventurers present trying to thwart whatever evil deeds they are doing, but thus far I'm not having much luck.
The method I'm using is simply placing an encounter, setting a one way waypoint and then entering a number in the feet per second box. I've tried everything from 1 to 1000 and for the life of me I can't see to tell but only the smallest of difference.
What I would like to have happen is the patrol somewhat "runs" to the set one-time waypoint I have placed. Also if it is helpful to note, it is a pretty straight line they are moving in so the patrol is not getting bogged down with objects in the way and I only have 1 waypoint as I was not sure if they would stop or slow down as they approach the next marker.
Patrols ignore the patrol speed for now, and they have done so since BW3. I assume it's going to get patched at some point, but for now set the values to something that sounds reasonable, accept that they'll walk at a brisk pace, and be prepared to patch your quests as soon as the values get patched back in.

Ah wow... that stinks... but this was a helpful thread. I at least know I shouldn't stress over the tool ignoring the value I put in the box.
Any idea on when they plan on updating the foundry with this feature?
