I've been using the gateway this weekend, and despite me saying "save browser", it asks me each time I fire up the page. Am I doing something wrong?

At a guess, you're using the wrong browser. For me, IE 10 forgets every time. Firefox and Chrome remember though,

Also if you have your browser set to clear cookies/history each time it closes, you will have this issue. I recently cleaned the cookies/history from one of my browsers and had to re-enter the code.

IE 9 - not set to clear cookies or anything.

The only other thing I can think of is an issue with your IP address provided by your ISP. Go to your account guard and look at the computers/browsers you have granted access to. If you see multiple machines/browsers with different IP address but, only use the one computer, that is why. You can also accomplish this by checking at the bottom of the email you get with the code. It gives you the IP address of the machine that the request is coming from.
