Do buffs increase Gearscore?

I have heard people saying opposite things about this. Personally, my GS is not affected by buffs at all, this is including potions, feats, campfire, stats bonus from pet and buffs from other party members, etc.
It lead me to believe that only some people are affected. I mean, think about it, buffs are not supposed to contribute to "gearscore". I suspect that they partially fixed this such that characters created after certain point do not get this "benefit".
Can anyone report in whether their GS is affected by buffs？

I have no idea how the GS score is calculated, but campfire REDUCES your GS.

Okay, I just tested the campfire. I waited for the whole 15 minutes for it to go away after it went away i got my 8311 back. When the buff is on me it drops my GS to 8299 and its really annoying because it prevents me from doing t2 dungeons.
