How do I sell a bound companion?

I've been using these companions, but I no longer need them. Can I sell them? Before I named them, the message said there was a way to unbind them. How would I do so? The only thing I've done to these companions is name them. They're level 1 and all that.

    I am interesting at it also. I have some lvl 30 comp. but i dont use them...i wanna sell them.

    You are supposed to be able to unbind them but its not working. I am hoping its just a bug. I was wanting to pass some of the lvld up ones to my alts.
