I play a TR and my role in dungeons is to keep the cleric alive
Really, I sort out my dungeon build for AoE; Whirlwind of Blades, Blitz, Path of the Blade. Tactics helps to get Whirlwind up quicker.
Also I sometimes take Impossible to Catch so I can better off-tank / kite; like the Shock Trooper.
The biggest mistake I see are people running around all over the place and getting into the red AoE spots on the ground. If you bunch up the mobs, the AoEs they throw down are going to be bunched up as well; giving you nowhere to go. Better to space things out.
