Flying/Exploding loot

I havent had much problem with the loot exploding out of the corpse before I got to Mt.Hotenow, in there I have had quite a few times loot fly over the cliff and down into lava below. And yes I know I could move back from the cliff and pull the mobs with me but the place is quite narrow in some dungeons.. could anything be done about it?

    I second this - have seen it happen before, fortunately with just junk loot. End game could make for some really angry players if a boss is killed near a cliff and your loot falls to it's demise. I'm not sure what is the point of making loot fly up and outwards away from a mob after it's killed anyway lol
